MADjam uses the uses the SWING DANCER self service, online ticketing portal for all event pass and contest entries and workshop reservations. There are no in-person sales. You manage all your own purchases (ahead of time or after you arrive) from your smartphone or computer. All payments are made securely with a bank card. You may access the online portal any time to make exchanges, add new workshop reservations or make contest entry changes. You can purchase items for others after they have created an account. It’s fast, easy and secure!

MADjam EZ Pass – $225 This single ticket includes all 4 Nights and 3 Days of non-stop West Coast Swing fun and your choice of drop in workshops in the Grand & Regency Ballrooms.

Workshops in Lake Anne & Lake Fairfax have capacity limits. Some also have additional WSDC level requirements – scroll down for more info!

Thursday Night – All events after 7pm ($35)

Workshop Early Entry Passes

In-depth L1 workshops held in Lake Fairfax in small groups.
Limited capacity: 22 Leaders and 22 Followers.
All L1 workshops offer drop-in general admission on a space-available basis, as well as a limited number of Early Entry passes:

Add Early Entry to your registration to enter a workshop 15 minutes early, before general admission. This guarantees your spot as long as you arrive on time.
You may add up to three Early Entry passes to your MADjam registration.
If you miss the Early Entry time, please join the end of the general admission line.

Workshop Reservations

These workshops require paid reservations, the purchase of an EZ pass or session pass, and in some cases qualification by WSDC level. You can look up your level HERE.

Develop control, adaptability, and musical clarity across different tempos. You’ll learn how to adjust your movement, weight transfers, and connection so your dancing stays grounded, fluid, and intentional on both slow and fast music. You’ll leave with practical tools that translate immediately to social dancing and competition.

Musically embellish every two counts of any basic pattern. For all levels!

Open to anyone who teaches or has an interest in teaching west coast swing.
